I joined this brilliant RP game made by this girl I RP with a lot. it's a cool idea - basically, it takes place in Deathly Hallows, and we're just working our way through the book. It's canon, so we know the facts, but the fun part is that you can play any character, and since we mostly follow Harry, you can do almost anything within reason. It's exciting, and so much fun ^___^

I'm not just squeeing for no good reason - I play Ginny Weasley and Narcissa Malfoy, and we desperately need a Ron, and I badly want a Lucius. The game is played in day-to-day time (with accommodations for holidays, etc.) and is set to end after the Battle of Hogwarts, with as much time as is needed after to properly finish threads. Applications are currently open; players are asked to work with canon to develop their own path through the known story lines as we go, as there is already so much available room to maneuver.

Writers interested in applying should know that this is a community oriented game. Moderating is done by a combination of founding mods and player-elected mods, preventing power trips and encouraging player participation while still providing the necessary assistance and guidance to make a game run smoothly. Experience is not required; we firmly believe that a writer brand new to RPG can develop a character fabulously and fully. Seasoned players are also happily accepted with their favourite known characters or brand new explorations, now is your chance to let someone new invade your brain! I just graduated. It was painfully boring. And not just because my tooth was ripping a new hole in my cheek, but because grads are so dull. Next years will be more fun, it just seems stupid graduating every year.

Joining out for lunch with my parents to "celebrate" cuz my mum would celebrate new curtains if she was let =P I can't eat, between being a vegetarian and my jaw being swollen, so this should be interesting!

Oh, and a big yay to all the Americans on my flist. It's times like these I wish I was American, your pride and joy is so strong that it's touching the whole world. Heck, the grad speech stole the "yes we can" to weaker effect! Obama fo yo mama!

Sooo I haven't blogged in forever. Something about being back in college always makes me want to blog like a fiend.

I'm posting this from my beautiful iPhone cuz there's a cool lj app that is going to make my crazy blogging so much easier! FTW.

I know there's all this awesome ljtasticness about nanowrimo so I think I'm going to blog daily to keep up with my writing.

I'm kind of gone off the Internet these days. So much drama and I don't want to deal with it. I'm thinking a break might be necessary, limit myself to nano... Idk. I just so badly want to be a writer, I think it's about time I concentrate on that before I let it slip again.

Hopefully I'll be meeting neil gaiman this Thursday, it should lift my spirits a lot. I effing love him, the graveyard book was so beautiful. I'm reading fragile things now and his writing... It's like a glass of water after a week in the desert. I almost said dessert, which would be lovely right? Cake alllllll week?! Yeah I'd still want some gaiman water :)
